You will be working for the facility's management company responsible for all day-to-day maintenance of the grounds of HMP Garth. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the prison and can often lead to permanent opportunities.

Y our new role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities within the Waste Management unit and will be required to carry out various activities such as processing and disposing of waste materials from all areas of the establishment in the most appropriate and effective way, whilst also providing guidance to staff on how to manage waste more effectively. You will also be responsible for the supervision of prisoners, managing the quality of their work. The role would be mainly Mon – Thurs 7.45 – 5, & Fri 7.45 – 11.45, but every 4th weekend you would be required to work Sat & Sun 7.45 – 11.45.

As a successful candidate, you will work well in a team, communicating and influencing others, and be efficient in managing a quality service. Having basic security awareness is not essential for the role but could be advantageous.

You will receive £13.68 per hour premium, paid weekly every Friday.
