A specialist MGA based in the heart of the City that specialise in International Property & Liability. They pride themselves on their innovative insurance solutions and offering to a global panel of strategic brokers.

After several years of positive performance, this company is now looking to add an Underwriter to their Property team, in a broker-facing role.

Your new role

The primary focus of the role will be writing profitable international property business. The role is broker facing, so expect engagement with their already strong panel, but existing relationships you can bring will also be beneficial.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Writing an account of Property Direct & Facultative business
• Liaising with brokers to maintain and build support for the product offering
• Where necessary, liaising with capacity providers
• Work closely with the support team to efficiently process written business and mid-term queries

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years experience of underwriting International Property risks
• Experience of managing broker relationships
• Interpersonal skills to proactively deal with brokers
• Experience of London market property
