School HR Officer
Location: Camden, London
Salary: £15 - £18 per hour
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for education? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team. As an integral part of our school community, you will play a crucial role in supporting our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.
Responsibilities:- Provide a full administrative service for the school, acting as the first point of contact for staff inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records related to recruitment, contracts, absence management, and performance reviews.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting, and arranging interviews.
- Support the induction of new staff members.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in an HR role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work sensitively with young people and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
