**Project Manager required to assist Property Management, Development & Commercial Departments**

Your new company

A privately owned multi-award-winning investment and development company is the property division of a Tier 1 Contractor which has operated throughout the UK & Ireland for in excess 50 years. With offices in London, Belfast, Dublin and Cookstown, the company specialises in substantial mixed-use city centre regeneration projects, focusing on the development of high-quality office, hotel, student and build-to-rent residential accommodation.
Due to ongoing contracts awards and an enviable pipeline of work coming through, they now require an additional Project Manager to join their team on the development side.

Your new role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as Project Manager you will work closely with the Property Management, Development Team and the Commercial department. The role will cover design, construction, contractual and commercial management of various project types from inception to completion. Your duties will include;
  • Assist with contractor and consultant appointments including procurement, compliance reviews and contract/appointment compilation.
  • Liaise with external clients throughout the preconstruction and construction process.
  • Support the delivery of projects from preconstruction project scoping, budget preparation, feasibility studies, through to contract award and management of the construction process.
  • Co-ordinate and manage external design teams and consultants to ensure effective communication and timely information flow.
  • Ongoing analysis of project progress and costs to feedback to the Contracts Manager on a regular basis.
  • Preparation and presentation of development and construction progress reports both internally and to external clients.
  • Provide commercial and construction assistance to members of the Property Team.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role as Project Manager you will need;
  • A 3rd level construction related degree or other relevant discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience working for a developer, main contractor, consultant or EA. Undergraduate with sufficient experience would be considered.
  • Highly motivated and driven with ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • High standard of interpersonal skills, with clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • The ability to organise, prioritise and plan time and resources to deliver work and mitigate risk. This includes the ability to adapt and change plans as the requirements of the situation change.
  • Ability to work to deadlines individually and as part of a team demonstrating commitment, hard work, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
