Operation Technician at LifeScan / Full time / Inverness based

Operation Technician, £14.72 per hour

Operations technician required in the Inverness area on a full time temporary basis initially for 6 months with possibility of becoming permanent thereafter. This is a full time, 4 on 4 off, 7-7, working pattern rotating between day and nightshift.

You will be working as an Laboratory Technician on a temporary assignment for approximately 4 months with possibility of being extended thereafter, based in Inverness.

Your new role

As an Operations Technician you will work as part of a team to use equipment for assembly and processing tasks producing LifeScan's glucose monitoring products. You will assist with setting up equipment, quality control inspections and cleaning of the equipment as required. You will play a key role in the organisation notifying your supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed on equipment and helping to ensure production targets are met. This will include preparing accurate records/documentation of the work in progress. You will work 12-hour shifts rotating between 7am – 7pm and 7pm to 7am, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will be able to communicate and accurately convey information both verbal and written. You will have the ability to build sound technical knowledge of assigned processes and accurately absorb and follow technical instructions. You will take personal responsibility and accountability as required to maintain process EHS, Quality, Yield and Throughput. You will be able to adhere to departmental and company GMP guidelines and operating procedures. You will have the ability to work in a team setting contributing to both your team, and the organisation's success.
