Your new role

The firm are currently looking for an associate to join their Real Estate team based in London. The Real Estate teams collaborate closely with commercial and residential property developers, landowners, commercial landlords, investors, banks, and institutional lenders. Leveraging their extensive professional network, which includes accountants, surveyors, and planning consultants, they ensure that their clients receive a comprehensive and integrated approach. Additionally, operations span across various sectors, including Retail & Leisure, Health & Social Care, TMT & Life Sciences, and Charities.

You will:
  • Handle a caseload of files, effectively managing cases and transactions.
  • Establish credibility with clients and cultivate client relationships by managing their expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timelines.
  • Evaluate and scope fees for existing clients.
  • Expand both internal and external networks by engaging with clients, intermediaries, and contacts.
  • Enhance personal and departmental profiles by participating in networking events, writing publications, creating marketing materials, and speaking at seminars.
  • Take ownership of delegated project aspects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support junior team members by providing technical, business, and general advice.
  • Maintain open communication channels with both senior lawyers and junior team members.
  • Monitor progress against personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet targets.
  • Assist with budget management for client matters.
  • Apply established business processes and utilise resources effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-4PQE
  • Experience of Commercial Property Matters
  • Coaching & Training experience
  • Strong client management skills
