Key Accountabilities:
1. Internal Audit Planning and Execution:
- Conduct internal audits across various departments and locations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
2. Fraud Detection and Prevention:
- Implement measures to identify and minimise the risk of financial fraud within the organisation.
3. Financial Governance:
- Assess and enhance financial governance frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare detailed and insightful audit reports, summarising findings, and presenting recommendations to management.
5. Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial processes and provide guidance on best practices.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing.
Requirements -
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
