Marketing Manager - 6 Month FTC - Glasgow -

Your new company

You will be working for a membership organisation which protects and supports health professionals. This organisation is based in Glasgow city centre, and they are looking to add a Marketing Manager to their team on an initial 6 month contract basis.

Your new role

The purpose of this role is about understanding the organisation's members and customers - and building awareness about how the organisation's products and services can satisfy their needs. This organisation is looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager. Their ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities as well as long-term strategy and thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and audience cohorts
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal and external support and driving collaboration
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Develop and build the organisations brand and identity in the market
  • Partner with marketing manager, digital marketing manager, product marketing manager as well as external creative and digital agencies to design, test and evolve campaigns

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. In addition to:

  • A minimum of 4 years commercial experience producing holistic marketing campaigns with a multi-channel approach
  • Insurance or Medical Defence industry experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Experienced user of marketing automation tools such as Campaign Monitor or similar
  • Comfortable in using ever evolving technologies and platforms
  • Knowledge of using insight and data to build and evolve successful campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt style depending on audience
  • Knowledge and understanding of analytics (data analytics and analytics tools)
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Curious and always eager to learn and develop capability
  • A never complete attitude, always striving to improve performance and find creative ways to develop and improve campaigns
  • A true team player who thrives on collaboration

What you'll get in return

This role is offered for a 6-month period, and will be offered on a salary of £50k. This role offers hybrid working and the preference is to be working 2 days in their city centre office per week.
