Your new role

With a vibrant and collegiate cross-office team, the Real Estate practice are keen to hire enthusiastic and motivated Associates and Senior Associates to further bolster their excellent practice; investing particularly in three key disciplines: Residential Development, Social Housing & Regeneration and Energy & Waste.

Residential Development

You will act for an enviable client base of large, medium and small housebuilders, land promoters and landowners giving you exposure to handling the full life-cycle of residential development real estate work from all angles.

Social Housing & Regeneration

You will enjoy acting for a broad spectrum of national housing associations, charities and local authorities, providing comprehensive Real Estate advice on everything from complex regeneration schemes, to the development of affordable housing provision.

Energy & Waste

You will be working with a growing team of Real Estate lawyers undertaking a range of complex and high-value energy projects, often with colleagues from other disciplines including construction and infrastructure, commercial, environmental and planning.

What you'll need to succeed

In growing these areas, I am very keen to speak to talented Real Estate Solicitors/ CILEx Lawyers with either demonstrable expertise in any of the three key disciplines above, or to Real Estate lawyers who are keen to diversify and specialise in any of these three areas.

You will be an excellent communicator with proven technical and organisational skills, and be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients while showing a genuine commitment to their business needs.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will join a Real Estate team with big ambitions; offering training, support and plenty of headroom for progression. You will be supported and encouraged as you grow your professional networks, maximising business development opportunities in the market. You will enjoy a positive work-life balance making the most of life in the Southwest and a generous benefits package.

With both flexible and hybrid working options available, this is a great opportunity that would suit full or part-time Real Estate Lawyers who are already based in the Southwest, or are looking to relocate to the Southwest in the near future.

What you need to do now

If you are interested in exploring the opportunities above, or believe you have a skillset and background that would complement the team’s existing offering, please do get in touch with Sheldon Carlisle at Hays as I would love to speak to you.

I would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
