Interim KS3 Teacher of Maths and Science
Key Purpose of the Job
- To provide temporary teaching support for KS3 Maths and Science students.
Responsibilities:
As an interim KS3 Maths and Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons to students in allocated classes.
- Adapting existing lesson plans to meet the needs of the students.
- Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.
- Assisting with any administrative tasks related to the role.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
- A suitably qualified graduate.
- Evidence of relevant and ongoing CPD.
- This role would be suitable for an NQT.
Experience:
- Teaching experience in KS3 and KS4, including an up-to-date knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
- Knowledge of recent national developments in Secondary Education.
- An excellent teacher with the ability to secure consistently high levels of student achievement.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent teaching skills, including effective communication and the ability to motivate students.
- Clear understanding of high-quality teaching and learning principles.
- Commitment to achieving student success for all.
