Chester & Ellesmere Port. ECT Primary Education vacancies. Long-term contracts from September.

Have you recently completed a PGCE or Bachelors Degree in Primary Education or Early Childhood studies? Do you have ECT/NQT status and are struggling to secure a role for next academic year? Hays Recruitment are working in partnership with the majority of primary schools across the Chester, Ellesmere Port and wider Cheshire area's as they are looking for graduates with NQT/ECT status for long-term contracts across all primary key stages/year groups.
Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a large number of primary schools across the Chester, Ellesmere Port and Cheshire area. Our partnership schools are looking to recruit those with ECT status from September for long-term contracts, some of which will last until the end of next academic year. Due to unprecedented demand, we do have roles across all year groups, meaning you will have the opportunity to work with the year group best suited to your teaching style and preference.
Your new role
In your new role as a Primary Teacher with Hays, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our partnership schools in the Chester, Ellesmere Port and Cheshire area. You will have the opportunity to work in a year group of your choosing from EYFS/reception, KS1 and KS2. This will include all aspects of lesson planning, preparation and delivery in line with the school's values and ethos. You will ensure that all learning materials are inline with the national curriculum and presented in an engaging and stimulating manner as to aid in students reaching their full academic potential. You will monitor behaviours by working alongside colleagues and implement a meriad of Behaviour for Learning techniques and differentiating material to suit attainment needs.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful with your application, you must have completed a PGCE/Bachelors Degree in Primary Education/Early Childhood studies, as well as:
  • The ability to deliver stimulating and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Be available up-to 5 days per week on a long-term basis
  • The ability to access students and give feedback
  • Be able to support students with their social and emotional development
