Glasgow Quantity Surveyor

Your new role :

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team - Reporting to Senior Surveyors, Contracts Manager and Directors , main duties listed :

Manage commercial and contractual matters from project outset to completion on a variety of projects - (Roads, Structures, Flood Prevention and Renewable Energy Projects)

Subcontract package procurement and management

Agreement of Main Contract and Subcontract interim applications and final accounts

Measurement take-offs and variation/change control costing

Value engineering

Creation and submission of programmes

Contract Administration

Cost forecasting and reporting

What you'll need to succeed :

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar;

Ideally previous experience in a similar role;

Ability to work as part of team;

Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility;

Attention to detail;

Ability to communicate effectively;

Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills;

IT proficiency;

Ability to meet deadlines;

Security cleared or the ability to obtain the required level of clearance;

Knowledge of basic common law, contract law and standard form conditions of contract;

Experience with contract documentation preparation;

Ability to manage change control effectively;

Experience with contract administration, ensuring contract compliance;

Experience with cost forecasting and reporting.
