A well-known public sector organisation is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as an Accounts Payable Assistant. This individual will join on a temporary basis for 8 weeks. The position is office based with the offices being based in Ayrshire. Flexible work is available. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. The organisation has on site parking and is served well by public transport.

In your new role, you will be reporting directly to Account Payable Manager. Your role will entail multiple duties, such as invoice processing in a fast-paced environment. You will also assist with the bank reconciliations, payment runs, mailbox management, reporting for management and general associated finance admin.

To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.
