Dynamic Growth Opportunity for an Enthusiastic Treasury Manager

Your new company

Are a renewable energy producer with a solid pipeline of sustainable growth for the next decade. They pride themselves on developing, building and operating renewable energy projects for the long-term, but with an added focus on providing affordable green electricity to their customers. Their operations span the globe, from North and South America, to Europe and Asia, but are continuing to expand constantly.

Your new role

The role will play an important part in delivering projects to evolve the treasury function, supporting the SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP implementation, alongside offering a wide variety of professional development opportunities with exposure to a rapidly growing industry. You will support investor engagement with the view to optimise liquidity and funding the Group's global acquisitions and construction projects. Your role will monitor and report on energy price derivatives, maintaining financial controls, managing and placing derivative hedging trades, as well as managing debt facilities +€1bn and Standby Letter of Credit facilities. You will also help prepare and execute payment runs, build quarterly reports to investors of group bank accounts and maintain relationships with banking and payment platforms, as well as supporting loan compliance and other ad hoc initiatives to support the wider Finance team and look for improvements in Treasury / Group performance. You will also business partner with the different Group functions such as Tax, Financial Accounts, and Growth to provide cross-functional support. Counterparty credit risk analysis will form a new part of the role and the Treasury team's expertise.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with good technical experience in Accounting or a Qualified Treasury Professional (ACT or equivalent)

  • Able to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally with multi-diverse teams

  • A track record of creating positive relationships with stakeholders

  • A drive to implement change and improvements

  • Fluent in English
