Regulatory | Policy | Radioactive | Full Time

You will be working for a government agency who specialise in environmental science. You will be working in their Regulatory department specialising in radioactive substances.

Key responsibilities:
  • Drafting of policy and guidance to support its implementation.
  • Reviewing nuclear templates and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure site templates, procedures and guidance are updated and reviewed regularly.
  • Understand and interpret externally generated technical, scientific and legal information.

Requirements:
  • You must have experience working with radioactive substances.
  • A degree in an environmental, life science or relative technical field.
  • Knowledge of legislation regarding radioactive substances.
  • 3 years' experience in a relevant industry, e.g. nuclear.
