Project Planner - Nuclear - Cumbria based
- Produce fully resourced and cost-loaded Tender and Project programmes developed from commercial estimates, logical diagrams and norms.
- Maintain Project programmes on a fixed and regular basis with actual and forecast progress, percent completes and report earned value and KPI’s to Senior Management, Project Managers, Engineers, QS’s and Cost Engineers as required.
- Utilise update data from various sources including Manufacturing Planner, Project Engineers, Buyers and Commercial team.
- Liaise with, and feedback to, the Planning Team Leader, Project Planners, Engineers and Managers of progress and impact ensuring all departments have visibility of the programme schedules as required.
- Propose solutions to mitigate potential progress issues & conflicts and support the development of an agreed revised workshop plan.
- Support the production of the manufacturing forward load when required.
- Support the Project team in presenting Project progress at regular client meetings.
Qualifications / Experience Required/Desired / Personal Attributes
- Experience of Primavera P6 or Microsoft planning Desirable
- Experience with use of MS Office suite. Desirable
- Good communicator, proactive problem solver and self-motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Thorough with a high attention to detail.
- Experience of manufacturing processes within an Engineering Manufacturing environment is desirable.
- An Engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
