Exciting New X-Ray Sales Role - South UK

Your new company

You will be working for a market leading organisation in X-Ray and Radiology Room sales who are looking to build on the momentum they are seeing across the UK . This position involves a sales role that encompasses responsibilities for customer, partner, and corporate sales. The primary duty of the Account Manager is to facilitate, propel, and enhance the company’s standing and reach within the assigned territory. The Account Manager will concentrate on our company’s operational functions in support of customer sales and market needs. You will be covering a portfolio of Radiology room equipment, primarily X-Ray machinery.


Your new role

  • Apply the company’s sales methodology to foster a culture of consultative selling to decision-makers at all levels.
  • Develop and sustain effective business relationships with executive decision-makers in large accounts.
  • Initiate and coordinate the creation of action plans to infiltrate new markets.
  • Deliver prompt, precise, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while aiming to maintain the highest profit margin.
  • Keep accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.
  • Manage expenses to adhere to budget guidelines.
  • Align sales and business initiatives and integrate sales processes across the company in the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate feedback to various areas of our business regarding client needs, operational needs, business opportunities, and marketing/sales programmes.
  • Propel the business in the assigned Territory to achieve and exceed sales and business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure representation at an executive level at crucial meetings with prospects, clients, and technology/channel partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Product & Services Marketing: provide channel feedback on product features and functions, trends, programme needs, customer outreach programs, and events.
  • Suggest selling techniques based on market and product knowledge.
  • Assist in cultivating brand identity and recognition in the assigned Territory.
  • Provide precise and timely forecasts using the appropriate sales tools and processes and maintain all relevant information about customers, prospects, campaigns, and leads.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team & Sales leadership to ensure business is conducted accurately and within pricing guidelines to the highest ethical standards.
  • Work with customers to ensure prompt payments against invoices.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years’ healthcare sales experience in the assigned Territory, selling capital equipment into Radiology rooms.
  • Consideration will be given to qualified Radiographers with 5 years’ clinical experience.
  • Business-oriented with financial acumen and analytical discipline.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellence in sales and marketing.
  • Strategic and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Proficient verbal and written English language skills.
