Material Flow Simulation Engineer

Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Material Flow Simulation Engineer to join our client on an ongoing long-term temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 12 months.

Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 1GB

38 hours per week across 5 days

Your new role –
As a Material Flow Simulation Engineer with a focus on Industrial Engineering your key responsibilities will be:

  • To update/ create material flow simulations for production areas
  • To run experiments of different scenarios in production with the aim of increasing production efficiency
  • To work with all levels within the plant to outline the benefits and limitations of material flow simulations
  • To complete MTM analysis of production processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to increase manufacturing efficiency
  • Development of productivity solutions and support realisation

What you’ll need to succeed –

Required:
  • Proficient use of Siemens Plant Simulation software
  • Experience in Process Improvements
  • Experience in Project Management

Beneficial:
  • MTM experience
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience
