Requirement for a Production Manager in County Armagh

Your new company

Your new company is one of Northern Ireland's longest standing Food Manufacturing companies that have been supplying top quality products across the UK and Ireland for up to 100 years. With exciting and ambitious growth plans for 2024, the company have created a brand new Production Manager role to oversee their new manufacturing facility.

Your new role

As Production Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production lines, reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day production activities, fostering a positive culture of continuous improvement. You will monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise production schedules and resource allocation. You will identify opportunities for cost reduction and enhanced productivity using Lean tools and techniques and generate production reports, analyze key performance indicators, and present insights to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for the role should have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment, with revious experience dealing with BRC audits. You should have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production best practices.
