    Depends on experience

Brilliant opportunity for an employment law paralegal working with an experienced employment partner.

My client is a thriving boutique employment law practice which is rapidly building a reputation as being the go-to firm for employment law not just in Yorkshire but across the country at large. In order to continue their development and growth, my client is offering an excellent opportunity for an employment law paralegal based within commutable distance of Leeds City Centre to work in a 360 role (as opposed to being entirely desk based) to join the team and help them continue their journey on the way to becoming the market leader when it comes to employment law services.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for employment law which can be evidenced through previous experience working as a paralegal or through specific studies or relatable experience. The successful candidate can expect to work on behalf of clients from across a wide range of sectors with plenty of opportunity to build personal client relations and make a meaningful contribution to providing solutions to their employment and HR issues.

This role will involve dealing with employment law issues across the board including employment tribunals regarding the full spectrum of employment law matters (with the potential to engage in your own advocacy), settlement agreements, bespoke advice on redundancies/grievances/disciplinaries/TUPE transfers etc. and producing/presenting training to HR professionals and other key figures within client businesses.

Most importantly, applicants will need to have an open attitude towards further learning and development as well as a friendly and approachable attitude to fit in with the supportive and progressive culture in existence, which really sets my client apart from other employers within the Leeds market.

Ideally, applying candidates will be able to start ASAP but any and all lawyers with an interest in this position should apply regardless of their notice period.

For further information about this role, please contact Samuel Higgins at Hays Legal (0113 200 3717).
