Field Inspector-Onsite- Field- NRASWA- £267.00 PAYE- £300 Umbrella

About the role
As a Field Inspector, you will be going to sites where contractors are working and assessing what they are doing. You will be responsible for visiting multiple dwelling units and checking how the network has been installed. Ensuring the work is done to the client’s standards as well as industry regulations and to the NRSWA and Code of Practice for coordination of street Works.

Our client is currently looking for a new recruit to join their Network Field Operations team. Please read on! You can also ask our friendly recruitment team any questions you may have about the role, between 8:00am- 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

The must-haves:
  • Must be qualified to NRASWA Supervisor level.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Street Works Act.
  • Experience working in a Multiple Dwelling Unit’s (MDU’s) pre-wire role.
  • Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of HSC networks
  • Great communication skills
Job responsibilities
  • To drive and have responsibility for the regional field delivery of multiple dwelling units (MDU) on the Fibre Upgrade overlay programme from approval to build, completion and handover.
  • Managing the validation of the data to ensure the Fibre Upgrade overlay Programme meets its objective for the overlay of fibre to existing MDU’s that are pre-wired internally or externally only.
  • Close liaison and management of the building owners/managers will play a key role and is essential to ensure the smooth delivery of the Programme. To support and manage the field Fibre Upgrade overlay, MDU Works ensures the planning survey, design and build are delivered in a compliant standard that meets MDU Codes of Practice & regulations and the design.
  • Carrying out live & retrospective audits of the internal/external build to ensure compliance with all current legislation and specifications.

  • A day rate, in-scope IR35, of £267.69 per day (PAYE) OR £300.00 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
  • This role provides onsite work within the Midlands (Birmingham and Stoke area).
