Grade 6 Packaging Operator - Macclesfield - 3 Month Initial Contract - Further contract/development available

Role Type: 3-Month Initial Contract – Further Contract/Development Opportunities


Location: Macclesfield


Shift Pattern: 7 Day Working Pattern (6 days on, 2 Days off – 6 Days On, 5 Days off )




Packing Operator Grade 6, Macclesfield, £16- £22 per hour - 12-month contract with potential to progress.

Your New Role


You will ensure correct batch components are received from the warehouse to ensure smooth running of the line. You will be responsible for clearing the line from last order, check all components/batch documentation, set up line, start up and run line to ensure smooth running and production schedules are met. You will also close down packing orders.


Working effectively as a member of the team in order to ensure that effective communication channels and efficient working practises are maintained within the working period/team, you will also participate as a team member in improvement work and projects to ensure fit for purpose and line improvement. You will provide performance data on a daily basis and work with the team to analyse the data to improve performance.




What You’ll Need To Succeed


You must be computer-literate (basic knowledge Outlook), demonstrate continuous improvements & proven problem-solving skills with a passion to work for AstraZeneca.

Manufacturing, GMP and SHE experience are desirable.
