Technical Analyst - Source and Analyse Information focused on Energy and Resource Efficiency

Your new role

Reporting to the Energy and Resource Efficiency Technical Advisor, the post holder will be responsible for offering eligible businesses Energy and Resource Efficiency support. The Technical Officer will work directly with businesses and service providers to deliver technical advice and guidance to help Northern Ireland businesses make cost savings through analysing information from relevant technical or business sources and making recommendations to a customer/stakeholder to support improvements.


What you'll need to succeed

Recent experience working successfully on both team-based and individual projects focused in the Energy & Resource Efficiency environment.

Recent experience in sourcing and analysing information from relevant technical or business sources and making recommendations to a customer/stakeholder to support improvements.

Working knowledge of up-to-date energy and resource-efficient technologies with experience of advising customers.

Experience of developing and nurturing credible effective relationships with a proven ability to influence stakeholder/customers to achieve successful outcomes.

Possess a full driving licence and have use of a car for business purposes OR have access to a form of transport which will permit travel throughout Northern Ireland to meet the requirements of the post in full, both in a timely and effective manner.

Experience of working to short deadlines and using good judgement and initiative to identify priorities and effectively manage competing priorities whilst ensuring high-quality outputs and delivery of commitments within set timescales.

Your annual leave entitlement will be 25 days per annum with an additional 12 Public and Privilege holidays.

The leave year runs from 1st February to 31st January.

Leave entitlement in the period prior to the start of the new leave year is calculated on a pro-rata basis.
