Hays are delighted to be working alongside Ards & North Down borough council, who are seeking an experienced joiner to join their team based in Newtownards.

Your new role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and response maintenance works on Council properties, working alongside the wider estates team. You will be needed to assemble and install a range of joinery fittings and furniture, with some roofing works also required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant trade qualification or at least 5 years experience in a similar role. You will need to have a full driving licence and a recent employment reference will be required.

You will be employed initially on a temporary basis, working 36 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8.00-16.00, and Friday 8.00-14.00.
