Defence Litigation / Personal Injury Solicitor, Belfast

They are seeking to hire a defence litigation / personal injury solicitor with 2 – 4 years PQE to their Belfast office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to further their expertise and career in an exciting legal sector with an industry leader.
Your New Role:
This role offers you an excellent opportunity to manage your own High Court caseload working alongside the firms lead partner while defending large catastrophic loss cases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Handle a diverse and interesting caseload of personal injury claims.
• Work alongside the lead lawyer managing a caseload of complex injury claims including high value catastrophic injury claims.
• Provide expert legal advice on relevant medical issues to instruct medical professionals and clients.
• Attend relevant court hearings and mediations as required.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
To be a successful candidate, you will ideally have experience in defence litigation or personal injury alongside:
• Qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland with 2 – 4 years PQE.
• Strong oral and written communicator.
• Ability to critically think and analyse complex legal issues.
• Experience of cases involving complex medical issues preferred.
