System Integration: Ensure seamless alignment between Engineering BOMs, our PLM database system, and CAD models. Your attention to detail will be critical in ensuring that physical parts match specifications and design engineering sign-offs.
Quality Assurance: Lead audits comparing Engineering BOMs to CAD BOMs and actual builds. Identify any errors that could lead to shortages or cost discrepancies. Communicate findings effectively and update BOMs as needed.
Change Management: Maintain BOMs to capture engineering changes, supplier updates, and general improvements. These updates will feed into our PLM and MRP systems.
ECN Management: Raise and populate PLM Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to convey drawing revisions and updates to the CAD Team. Your oversight will ensure timely completion.
