Private client Account Handler – City/Hybrid – up to £35,000

You new job working as a Private client Account Handler will be working within one of the UK’s leading independent brokers. Located in the city and throughout the UK these brokers make it a priority to understand every detail of client’s businesses and work in partnerships to provide a complete service to their customers. The company offer unbiased access to the market and place cover with an established insurer network where they also work not only in UK but in the republic of Ireland too. They offer innovative and intelligent risk advice and insurance programmed designed to confidently provide clients a service to protect their risks. Due to growth within their London office a Private Client Account handler role has arisen to work as part of an established niche Private client division.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Private Client Account Handler based in London will require you to deal with clients from inception to completion supporting and promoting the London and UK branches both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties. You will be responsible for the management of a shared portfolio of accounts including accurate preparation of presentations and report writing to both the market and clients. Other responsibilities will be to maximise client retention levels, support the development of the Branch account and develop ad maintain good relations with partnered insurers. You will manage your account daily and visit clients alongside client executives as and when appropriate. Administration tasks will include new business and renewals, preparing client registers and updates when necessary, checking policies and maintaining god credit control within client portfolios.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience as a Private client Account Handler will help you succeed in this role. You will be Committed to advancement of CPD and professional qualifications appropriate to the role and to your personal development as well as this you will have a high standard of integrity alongside an ability to work in a highly regulated environment. You must be able to develop and sustain relationships with colleagues and clients and have great written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage a team
effectively.
