Infrastructure Engineer,Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Structural Engineer, Belfast, Northern Ireland

Your new role
The main responsibility of a Senior Infrastructure engineer is to manage the designing of roads, earthworks, foul sewers and storm drainage and cut and fill analysis for a range of large infrastructure projects. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Key responsibilities of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
  • To undertake design, preparation of contract documentation and administration of construction for projects and designing of infrastructure including the design of roads, storm and foul sewerage schemes.
  • Oversee the development of schemes using digital terrain modelling software
  • To prepare project specifications involving both standard specifications prepared by external agencies and in-house specifications.
  • You must prepare Bills of Quantities, supervise engineers and technicians, attend the design team meetings and client consultations, organise site surveys and site investigations.
  • It is vital that procedures are in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, this client requires a candidate who has a Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably 2:1. Candidates must also have relevant experience in industrial/commercial infrastructure projects, with good technical knowledge and fully versed with Civils 3D experience. Experience in engineering design and research is ideal.
