Research Scientist | Non-Regulated Bioanalysis | Interim | Contract | Analytics
Your new company
A global biopharmaceutical leader is looking for an experienced Bioanalytical Scientist to join on a 12-month contract for their site in Slough. This company commits their work to improving the lives of people living with severe neurological and immunological conditions with a strong focus on research and teamwork. Bioanalytical experience is key for this specific role.
Your new role
- Evaluating and determining the suitability of bioanalytical tools for specific purposes
- Responsible for internal discovery for all analytics
- A significant portion of your interactions will be with internal stakeholders, both within an international office and within the building.
- You’ll be working closely with Chemists, Pharmacologists and other experts within the organisation on that specific site.
- Actively contributing to the team's success and fostering a strong working environment
- 5 days on site in Slough
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold a minimum of B.Sc. to a degree or higher. Educational background should align.
- 3+ years experience specifically in quantitative bioanalytical work either in vitro or vivo. Your expertise in this area will be crucial for the success of the team.
- A strong track record for using a diverse range of analytical techniques.
- Should be adept at handling small molecules and ideally large
- Fluency in techniques such as enzymatic digestion / immunocapture purification.
- Proficiency in HPLC and LC-MS techniques in the BMPK environment
- Whilst not mandatory, any experience with lab automation would be advantageous.
- It is a very hands-on role, so you must have industry experience.
