A food manufacturer in Bristol is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, paying up to £47,000.

A market leading food manufacturing business in Bristol is now looking to appoint a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their existing Maintenance Engineering team. With an established team and development / progression routes internally, this business could provide you with a great platform to take the next step in your maintenance career.

Your new role
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be reporting in to the Maintenance Manager, whilst working on a 4on 4off, 12h rotational shift pattern. Within your role, you'll be expected to undertake the following duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to maintain optimal plant performance.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Document maintenance activities accurately.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, you must have a proven track record within a Maintenance Engineering position, within a factory environment. You must be HND or HNC qualified, and it would be beneficial to your application if you had working knowledge of electrical isolation.

What you'll get in return
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be paid an annual salary (including shift premium) of £47,000. In addition to this, you'll join their company-wide bonus scheme and their generous pension contribution scheme.
