This client is an award-winning Legal Firm in Edinburgh.

Your new role

You will be expected to provide proactive and professional Legal PA support to the allocated group and services are to be delivered to the business in a manner which is consistent with the increasingly competitive environment in which the Firm operates.

This role is intended to embrace a team-working approach, collaborating with lawyers and other members of Business Operations to fulfil the needs of the business. In addition to being assigned to a number of specific lawyers, it is expected that a Legal PA will work with every member of the team to ensure that overall needs are met.

Key Responsibilities -

Client Service – It will be your responsibility to deliver excellent service to clients.

Planning & Organisation - Using your organisational skills to ensure the lawyers you work with have the information they need on a daily basis.

Managing Communications - Assist lawyers in their communications with colleagues and clients.

Document & File Management - Ensure that the documentation produced is of the highest quality and our files are accurate and up to date.

Business Development/Relationship Management - Contribute to developing the Firm's business and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and potential clients.

Billing, Financial & Project Management - Assist lawyers in managing their matters/projects and utilise the systems to the maximum benefit.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 2–3 years Legal PA experience is essential within a corporate or banking environment
  • Must be proficient in Documentation and File Management work
