Early Years Teacher job in Leeds, £150 - £210 per day, Supply full-time, Maternity Cover!

Are you a skilled and adaptable educator looking for exciting teaching jobs? Hays are currently seeking a passionate and committed Supply Teacher to take on a maternity cover from after May half term at a school located in East Leeds.

At Hays Education, we offer a wide range of staffing solutions to local primary schools, including ad-hoc day-to-day supply, long-term cover and permanent appointments.
Your new role will be taking up the role of a full-time class teacher in a reception class of 30 children, planning, marking and assessing to the school standards.
The school is a two form entry primary school catering for children from 3-11 years and is part of a Multi-Academy Trust. They are a welcoming, caring and vibrant school set within a supportive community. The school staff team are forward thinking and committed to providing the best education possible for our enthusiastic and motivated learners. There are many opportunities to become involved, whether as volunteers, through invitations to assemblies, presentations and performances or through the regular parental workshops that we hold, or even as part of our very active PTA.

The responsibilities of this role include:
•Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the EYFS curriculum in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
•Following the school's policies to ensure continuity in student learning during their absence.
•Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
•Providing feedback on student progress and communicating with regular teachers and school staff as needed.
•Demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school settings and teaching styles.

What you'll need to succeed
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
•Experience in teaching and classroom management.
•Strong communication and organisational skills. Adherence to professional standards and commitment to student development.
