Your Role:
As a Boilermaker with CF Group, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining boilers, tanks, vats, and other large vessels essential for storing and processing materials. Your responsibilities will extend to constructing and installing temporary structures and maintaining a wide variety of plant & equipment. Your work will ensure the integrity and efficiency of our engineering solutions, directly impacting our success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and steel structures.
  • Fabricate pipeline specials, structural steel components, and engage in project-specific work.
  • Install new and fabricated components, including pipework and equipment.
  • Utilise welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting, grinding, and other boilermaking techniques in your daily duties.
  • Ensure the safe and effective operation of plant, tools, vehicles, and safety equipment.

Working Relationships:
  • Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager for daily operational needs.
  • Interface with the Construction Manager and Engineers as required
  • Engage with clients and suppliers to coordinate safety documentation and procure necessary equipment.

What We're Looking For:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding (TIG, MIG, Stick), blueprint reading, understanding of materials (steel, concrete), rigging and lifting, use of hand and power tools, and a strong grasp of safety and quality control processes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional teamwork, communication, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum Year 10 education, with a Certificate III in boilermaking or relevant qualifications.
  • Relevant work experience, solid communication skills, and working knowledge of OH&S practices.
