We are looking for a Finance Officer to join a growing office in Manchester, our client is a government organisation that helps people, businesses and the economy by ensuring equal opportunities and promoting fair behaviour.

Your new role

As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for;

• Processing invoices accurately and on time.

• Preparing the BACs runs, raising CHAPS payments.

• Complete monthly reconciliations

• Checking and processing credit card expenses.

• Supplier statement reconciliations.

• Reviewing VAT transactions and preparing returns for management review.

• Raising CHAPS payments.

• Creation of sales invoices and debt management, when required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

• Experience in a similar role

• Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders

• Ability to prioritise conflicting demands

• Knowledge of financial systems (preferably Agresso)
