Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Exams Officer to manage all aspects of our school’s examination process. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration of internal and external exams, adhering to examination board guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate exam timetables, including scheduling, room allocations, and invigilation arrangements.
  • Register students for exams, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with examination board requirements.
  • Liaise with teaching staff, students, and parents regarding exam-related queries.
  • Prepare and distribute exam materials, including question papers, answer booklets, and stationery.
  • Oversee the secure storage and distribution of exam papers.
  • Manage exam results, including data input, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with external examination bodies and attend relevant training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with examination board regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle any exam-related issues or emergencies professionally and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an exams officer role or similar administrative position.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., exam management systems, spreadsheets).
  • Knowledge of examination board procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work during exam periods, including evenings and weekends.
