A well known plant hire company, based in Glasgow City Centre, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Credit Risk Analyst. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office based with the hours of work being Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with flexible timings. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties;
- Monitor policies and procedures by regularly monitoring and assessing company policies
- Ensure that risk mitigation strategies are in place and effective
- Continuously evaluate active customer accounts to minimise bad debt losses
- Identify potential risks, take necessary actions to prevent or reduce defaults
- Review credit limits for customers to ensure they are appropriate and aligned with risk tolerance
- Address any credit limit excesses promptly
- Engage with high-risk customers to develop action plans that mitigate risk
- Recommend provisions for potential bad debts based on risk assessments
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in a Credit Risk Analyst role. You’ll be able to complete tasks within strict deadlines and have strong communication and presentation skills, people skills with a hands-on approach.
