This rapidly expanding luxury goods company is based in the heart of London. The company trades around the globe with operations in the Middle East, Asia and America alongside their global head office in London. The business has enjoyed large growth, having expanded vertically into new markets, taking diligent steps to target areas with high growth potential.
Your new role
The Finance Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the financial department. The role is focussed on the accounts payable function, processing and troubleshooting accounts and transactions to ensure that these are recorded appropriately and meet necessary compliance standards.
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Receiving and recording invoices from suppliers
- Allocating and producing PO's
- Managing employee expenses
- Resolving queries from key stakeholders and clients
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in accounts payable
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable principles
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships internally across the team and externally with customers and suppliers
