Our client is looking for Accounts Assistant in a newly created role. They are a rail company that operate in the North.

Your new role

You will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the Banking Services department, ensuring compliance with company procedures and best practice. Assist the system accountant and financial accountant with system admin duties for Concur, SAP ECC/S4 & SAP Neptune.

Input bank statements on a daily basis.

Post revenue, payroll, and miscellaneous debits and credits on a daily basis.

Match items and maintain bank reconciliations.

Assist the Systems Accountant with the management expenses and procurement support.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

1 -2 years’ experience in a Finance role

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.

Confident in Excel, MS Office; with SAP/SAP BI/SAP BPC an advantage.

AAT Qualification or commenced study and studying towards CIMA or ACCA (desirable)
