Finance Manager – 6-month contract – £350 to £400 per day - Property Sector – Manchester – Hybrid
Your new company
Our client is a Not-for-Profit organisation specialising in the housing sector. They are one of the UK's leaders for this space and are going through a time of ambitious growth with large projects in the pipeline.
Your new role
In this Finance Manager 6-month contract role, you will report to the Head of Development Finance. You will be leading a small team and will ensure that the financial controls around development provide robust business assurance, support the development team to ensure schemes meet corporate governance, partner with management in providing key financial information and advice on partnership schemes with external parties, account for and reconcile schemes as developments progress through to completion. Monitoring the production of management and statutory accounts, and assisting in the production of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and year-end financial accounting will be a key focus initially.
What you'll need to succeed
As their new Finance Manager, you will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or part-qualified / QBE with strong business partnering experience and technical ability. You will have strong stakeholder management ability, strong leadership ability and be confident and credible to oversee the production of management accounts, year-end financial accounting, and have exceptional communication skills. It would be beneficial if you are coming from either a property or construction industry background.
What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month contract. This role will be a hybrid with 3 days from home and 2 days from their Manchester office, with a daily rate of £350-£400 per day umbrella.
