Web Developer, £21k - £26k, Greater Exeter Area (Hybrid)


Your New Company and Role:

My client is looking for a web developer to become an integral part of the development team. You will collaborate with marketing and development teams, focusing on implementing visually compelling designs to enhance the website's functionality. Contribute to product and marketing efforts by optimising user experiences and creating a compelling online presence. Working within the parameters of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001 requirements.

  • Collaborate with teams to enhance the website design and user experience.
  • Develop dynamic features aligning with strategic goals and daily development needs.
  • Optimise and troubleshoot existing web pages for marketing and product solutions.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of web initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends to enhance the company’s online presence.
  • Commit clean, maintainable code to Git for effective version control and collaboration.
  • Prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting, contributing to web development and supporting marketing and product goals.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create and maintain responsive web pages.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating design mock-ups into functional and visually appealing websites.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Experience in implementing and troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in debugging and resolving code issues.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve project goals.
