International real estate consultancy expanding their valuation team in Liverpool, Merseyside

Job Title: Valuation Surveyor (Senior or Associate)

Location: Liverpool city centre

Salary: £45,000-£60,000 basic salary + excellent benefits


A leading real estate consultancy with a presence in 20 countries, employing over 5000 people worldwide. The North West valuation team area based out of Liverpool cover all aspects of general practice valuation, predominantly in the commercial sector. Work undertaken is for a broad range of clients including; loan security businesses, international banking clients, government agencies, local and combined authorities. The Liverpool office is a long-standing team that are friendly and feels relatively close-knit whilst having the backing of a global business. The atmosphere is relaxed with the team splitting their time between the office and being home-based. There is a clear route of progression to Directorship with tangible clear objectives to work towards.

This is a new appointment for the business due to securing a long-term contract with a prestigious government agency and company will be working on-site with the client on a weekly basis as part of a team that will support informed decision-making and strategic planning for the client. The role will include involvement in some of the North West region’s most interesting and high-profile property instructions.

Main duties as a Valuation Surveyor include:
  • Property Valuations: Carry our accurate and reasoned valuations of company assets, including land and buildings. Ensure compliance with relevant RICS guidance to ensure best practice.
  • Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes impacting property values to best inform valuations.
  • Collaborate with the client and the wider property and asset management team to optimise the performance of the property portfolio.
  • Offer advice on asset enhancement and divestment opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business and externally. Contribute to strategic discussions related to property asset management.
  • Adhere to company's quality assurance and industry standards.


Role Requirements

• RICS qualification (FRICS/MRICS)
• RICS Registered Value
• Good organisational skills
• A strong collaborator
• Ability to work to deadlines.

  • Competitive basic salary - £45,000 - £60,000 basic salary (negotiable depending on experience)
