AZ currently require an interim medical information specialist on a 6-month assignment.

Location – Pancras Sq, London, UK

Hybrid Working – 3 days on-site per week

Outside IR35

In this role we need a Medical Information Specialist to provide a high quality, comprehensive, technical and scientific and medical information service for external and internal customers on the AstraZeneca product range. In addition, for the individual to support and enhance the safe and effective use of products, thereby allowing our customers to make informed decisions about the AstraZeneca product range.

Education Requirements:

  • Life Science Degree

Required Skills:

  • Experience within medical information in the life science industry
  • Experience of external customer interactions
  • Ability to effectively influence and interact with cross-functional colleagues
  • Understanding of basic pharmacovigilance concepts and requirements

Desirable Skills:

  • Awareness of NHS customer groups and other key customers
  • Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice
  • Experience in medical writing
  • Broad range of IT experience
  • Project management experience
  • Technical review of promotional material experience
