Hays are working with a professional services organisation based in central Bristol to support them with the recruitment of 2x permanent Test Engineers. The roles are offered on a hybrid basis and you could be predominantly home based, going into the office as and when required. The salary is up to £40,000pa and there Is a fantastic benefits package on offer.

Your new role

In the role you'll join an agile delivery team and be responsible for a range of testing (reliability, performance and quality) for the organisations technical solutions and services. You'll be responsible for both manual and automated testing working with various stakeholders in the IT directorate to provide technical expertise when required. You will provide hands on testing across functional, nonfunctional and end-to-end testing.

What you'll need to succeed

To be suitable for this role you will need to have worked in a similar test engineer / analyst position ideally in an agile delivery / development team. You will need to have varied experience across functional and non-functional testing as well as manual and automation testing. You'll need knowledge of scripting languages such as C# for test automation and have exposure with a range of test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress. Exposure with test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps will be beneficial. If you hold a relevant certificate such as ISTQB that would be desirable.
