Hays Education are Lancashire's premier Teaching Agency, providing staffing solutions to a whopping 150 schools across Lancashire! In previous years, we have expanded our offering to include Teaching Assistants too; these positions can be day-to-day, long-term or permanent (you decide which roles to accept).

Supply TA work can be perfect for people with a busy or constantly changing schedule, as it allows you to pick up work whenever you're free. It can also be a great opportunity to gain exposure to the classroom environment.

Your new role

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
• Helping with lesson delivery.
• Supporting pupils in their learning.
• Running intervention sessions with lower ability pupils.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate must be driven and keen to succeed. You must have a minimum of 8 weeks experience working with children in the past 2 years. This can be in any professional environment, including nursery, pre-school, and similar environments (we must be able to reference this experience).

A Teaching Assistant qualification is not essential, but would be desirable. We are keen to accept applicants of all backgrounds.
