English Teacher Job - Nottingham(Qualified Teacher, QTS, English Curriculum, Secondary, GCSE)

Your new company

We are working with a large secondary school in Nottingham who are looking for a qualified and experienced KS3 and KS4 English teacher to join their English department on a full-time basis asap. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in KS3 and KS4, helping to prepare students for their GCSE’s. The candidate must have experience working in a UK secondary school and be fully qualified.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Participate in school events and activities as required.

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher with experience of teaching English in a UK secondary school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
