Your new role
As a Tax Manager, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing your portfolio of clients' tax planning and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a Full Range of Tax Services: You’ll ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations within specified timeframes. This involves handling tax filings, providing expert advice, and reviewing complex income tax returns.
- Building Client Relationships: Interacting with clients is a key part of your role. You’ll provide excellent tax planning, consulting, and expertise, aiming to maximise engagement and achieve qualitative outcomes.
- Innovative Tax Planning: You’ll develop creative tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities while staying within legal boundaries.
- Risk Mitigation: Identifying and mitigating tax risks is crucial. You’ll assess potential risks and take necessary steps to address them.
- Personnel Management: Coordinating with accounting staff and assessing their performance ensures smooth tax provision and compliance processes.
- Process Improvement: You’ll contribute to process enhancement by implementing best practices and streamlining tax-related procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have previous experience in UK Taxation - ideally corporation or a mixed tax role.
- Must have advisory experience.
- Be familiar with Tax software and proficient in MS Office.
