Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and executing projects with precision and innovation. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, monitoring, and organising site-based activities, including contract administration, project management, WHS, and QA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead the execution and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes material handling, scheduling, ordering, and managing logistical requirements.
  • Engineering and Contracts Administration: review and amend contract documents, manage project documentation, and prepare progress claims, ensuring compliance with both contract and company requirements.
  • WHS and Safety: Oversee the company's WHS plan, ensuring all compliance procedures are met and that the workplace health and safety act's provisions are always observed.

Key Working Relationships:
  • Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager, Design Department, General Manager, and Finance Department to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant Tertiary Engineering Qualification.
  • Expertise in soil mechanics and proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with various types of piling equipment and geotechnical testing methods.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and structural analysis software.
  • Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and time management skills.
