**Site Manager required for Grammar school refurb and extension in Coleraine**

Your new company

Your new company is a multidisciplinary, family-run contractor based in Co. Tyrone, specialising in construction within the
Education, leisure, restoration & heritage, private residential & social housing and commercial
Sectors.
The company has built an enviable industry name over the last 50 years with their specialist team consistently delivering high quality service on a variety of projects for a diverse range of long-term clients, which has led to a high level of repeat business & continuous bid success.
Due to ongoing contract awards, your new company now requires an experienced Site Manager for the refurbishment of an existing B1 listed building, completion of a new single story extension and various external works located on the grounds of Coleraine grammar school.

Your new role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all finishing and snagging on the refurbishment of the B1 listed building as well as the extension to the existing Technology block.
The ideal candidate will have experience working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. As Site Manager, the expectation will be to have excellent technical experience, contractual knowledge, ordering materials and supervising subcontractors. You will be tasked with motivating the team day-to-day in order to ensure that projects are met within time and budget.

What you'll need to succeed

As Site Manager, you will have clear communication skills and be able to express requirements to junior engineers, subcontractors, peers and liaise with client representatives in order to lead an effective and efficient team.
You will be tasked with ensuring the project is kept on track and within budget, whilst keeping a focus on health and safety protocol.
It is required that you have suitable experience as a Site Manager working on similar-scale developments. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on high valued projects is critical in order to effectively fulfil this role. Also, you must have a strong Health & Safety ethos embedded within all working practices.
