We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mac Systems Administrator to join our IT team and take charge of implementing, managing, and supporting our Mac OS environment comprising approximately 750 Macs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Jamf and will play a key role in assisting with the migration to Jamf Cloud.


Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain a robust Mac OS environment consisting of 750 Macs, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Manage hardware and software configurations, including installation, updates, patches, and upgrades, to maintain compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing Mac OS environment performance and efficiency.

Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and minimize risk.

Assist in the planning and execution of the migration to Jamf Cloud, including testing, documentation, and user training.

Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance Mac OS environment capabilities and streamline operations.

Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of operations.

Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in Mac OS administration and Jamf deployment to continuously improve system performance and security.



Qualifications:

Proven experience in implementing, managing, and supporting Mac OS environments, preferably in a large-scale environment.

Strong working knowledge of Jamf administration and deployment.

Experience with Mac hardware and software configurations, updates, and troubleshooting.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications such as Jamf Certified Administrator (JCA) and Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) are a plus.

Experience working with third parties.
