Standalone Senior Credit Controller required for a well established Northwich based company
Your new company
Based in Northwich your new company is a large successful niche business who requires an experienced Senior Credit Controller to be responsible for the UK Ledger on a Standalone basis and work as part of a wider European team.
Your new role
This exciting role is a Standalone based Credit Control position reportable into the Credit Manager and will be managing the UK ledger side of the business.
A highly varied position you be responsible for owning a set portfolio of business to business UK clients, chasing for outstanding monies owned,
building solid business relations with key clients and query management.
As the sole UK Credit Controller you will have autonomy to ensure your portfolio is clean and aged debt kept to a minimum, developing relationships and repeat business.
As a support to the Credit Manager you will assist with various adhoc financial admin duties and be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business.
Maintain schedules and reconciliation for debtors,
reporting issues to the credit manager and the wider sales teams - ensuring any problematic customers are flagged.
Continuous improvements of processes to develop a streamline function.
Process factoring files to ensure cash inflows.
Daily adhoc finance duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of Credit Control is essential, as is the ability to self manage and take control to ensure cash flow remains buoyant.
Experience of factoring would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given
Willingness to learn and take on additional finance duties (training provided)
Computer literate - Excel
